As the title implies, I’m gonna post a continuation of the lame ass gundam sketch. My PS2 isn’t working well so I can’t play the new games, my com’s graphic card’s heat sink is busted so the com will freeze if I play any games and I’m downloading stuff so I can’t stream any online movies! Well boredom has set in and therefore making me do some strange things. O.o At least I did something!!

XXXG – 00W0 Wing Gundam Zero Custom-EW

So after like 4 days I’ve finally finished building this model kit.. It was very easy to build compared to my previous model, the Strike Freedom Gundam EXF.

Now some for some pictures:

Gundam Wing Zero with Twin Buster Rifle.

 

Okay seriously. it looks nice but the thing is you can’t really pose it. The number of poses it can do is limited as joints of the hands are not strong enough to support the weight of the rifles. Other modelers had also mentioned this before.  The other thing is you might not want to move this kit too much as joints of the wings can become loose. Sigh.. Good thing Bandai removed the quirks for the newer models like my Strike Freedom Gundam.

Yes! I’m on holiday!

I just finished my final exams on Friday. All in all I think 3 of the papers’ difficulty were about the same compared to the previous sem’s, there was one exception however, the Process System Analysis paper.. I think I’m going to fail that one even though I scored 44.3/50 for internal marks. Failing this paper would really be a waste as I won’t be able to advance to chemical engineering.. Yikes! But I think I’ll worry about it when the results are out.

Completed the torso and the head on Saturday.. Arms and Hands too.. Took me the whole day to do this. Panel lining too! XD

Okay.. This was taken last night (Sunday) at around 11.30 at night? Somewhere around there. Quite disappointed so far as I broke a portion of the right knee. Didn’t have materials, so I used UHU glue.. Heh =.=”

Okay.. The body is 100% complete! I just need to make the wings.
More sanding and filing and hurting more fingers.
I cut myself 4 times yesterday and 3 times on Saturday..

2nd: “Shortly after completion, he was knocked off a table, he fell and scattered into a many pieces. I couldn’t find all the remains. I couldn’t save him. There was not enough glue… Hey! Wtf?! Off to work soldier! I want you to polish yourself! You smell of alcohol*!! Don’t fail me or else you’ll eat my gun..”

 
Zero: “Ye-Y-Yes S-sir!!”
“Sigh.. Off to work.. Stupid creator**! using so much alcohol on me!!”

*Why alcohol? Alcohol or oil based liquid is used to wipe on uneven or smudged pen lines.. I use “minyak angin” btw.. =P”

20 1901 hot dogs! Yummy! It was the 19th and one hotdog was priced
at only 2.00! I ate 4 hot dogs for lunch XD!
(Andrew Kong’s in the background! The supplier.. 67 hotdogs! Many pretty angry queue-ing people were hunting him down.
FYI.. He curls up into a ball and rolls to uni… =P)

 

BRIDGE PROJECT

We were supposed to build a bridge that would support minimum 20kg for 20 seconds out of only NEWSPAPER AND GLUE!!

Marks were given based on the weight and the deflection of the bridge. The lighter and the least deflection, the more marks are given. Additional marks will be given based on elegance and the symmetry of the bridge..(Full marks for that.. kekeke) 

My team got the highest score in that session! Wheee!! 24.8/25 I think… =)

Only newspaper and glue! Very environmentally friendly. Scale is 1/200.

Weight: 1.093 kg

Close up! It actually looks bloody disgusting because of all the newspaper and glue.. I stayed up until 2.30am to do some final touches…

This was to test whether the bridge would be stable enough for vehicles to pass through.. The toy weighs 1kg. And see the weights on the top right side of the picture??

My bridge survived the 20kg trial and only deflected 1mm. And so we added weights until it reached 50kg. The bridge snapped because of a loose piece of paper if not we could have went to at least 60kg. Oh well..

After 2 days and 8 hours, I have finally completed the construction of this model. Compared to my first gundam, which broke into pieces not long after completion, I really had a hard time joining components together as the parts were small and fragile!! Using brute force and forcing everything into place would had really ruin the final product thus wasting my effort and money. And this thing WASN’T cheap… There’s a big hole in my wallet now. =S

Finally One Post!

Words can’t describe.. I’m finally willing to post something here. Gosh! Well a lot happened over the time I was not blogging. So I would like to just start fresh!

Okay! University life so for for the second semester has been really really tough. I’m not too sure whether I can get by! Well yea, you may think ‘Isn’t this what he said last semester??’. FYI, this semester’s subject difficulty is no where near last semester’s!! It’s really hard!! And I hate programming!!!

So.. Work Work Work!

P.S.: Trying out Windows Live Writer, it’s waaay convenient! I just can’t change the font size! dang!!

Liberty!! and then... Physical Problems??

My working days at G2000 have officially ended. Normally, most people would think: "I'm so lucky I got out of that junkhole alive!!" or "Yay!! I have enough money! Now I can buy those HD p%&^ DVDs!! *grins*" or "I wanna do this! No! I'll do THAT instead!!! No wait! This!!", etc.. when they leave work. But for my case, it's different.. I mean of course I'm happy that I stopped working, but one part of me is missing work: Nice people, Confortable place (Only at Isetan), Could try any clothes from any counter.. This may sound weird, but I kinda miss work.. Alright, I may sound a little confusing..

On the other hand, another part of me is telling me this: "Don't work! You're stressed! Take a break!". Actually, it's true, I am indeed under a lot of stress. Long hours of standing and work with very few hours of sleep. With the continuous strain that my body has struggled to put up for the last 2 months, I know that it simply won't hold any much longer and it will be just a matter of time before my health starts to deteriorate.. And so here I am, sitting at home enjoying my 2nd day of my unemployed life.. NOT!!

There has been some physical problems after working.. Although I'm happy that I lost quite some weight.. (Around 5kg in the 1st month??), and my waist shrank from a size 33 to a 31. My weight loss resulted in my stamina to be drastically lowered! I used to be able to jog continuously from my house to the park opposite 7-11 but now, only after a few minutes, I'm already gasping for air. What's worse is that my lower left abdomen would really hurt when I start to jog (I'm doing Interval Training Cardio..)!!!!! I checked for the reason online and all they said was it could be hernia. And what the heck is hernia?!? Sigh!! This seriously is unhealthy weight loss.. Now, I'm seriously weak and I get tired real easily.. And my face looks pale!! Garhhh!
